O. C. Jones &. Sons, Inc., founded in 1924 by Olin Clement Jones, began as a small concrete placing firm in Berkeley, California. Olin specialized in transporting and placing a new product, later to be known as ready-mixed concrete. Following WWII, Olin was joined by his sons, Harold and Robert. Together they helped the company expand into new market segments and increase its geographical reach.
Today, O.C. Jones is consistently recognized as a major heavy construction contractor and leading builder of athletic fields in the Bay Area. Our knowledge of the region’s soils, aggregate sources, disposal sites and soils engineers make us the number one choice as an earthwork contractor. We complement this knowledge with a large fleet of modern grading and excavating equipment, state-of-the-art technology and skilled construction professionals.
